Mountain Communities - CalTrans crews will be out in force repairing winter's pothole damage on major mountain roadways over the next few days. Motorists are advised to be on the lookout for repair crews and flagging operations and to expect short delays in the work areas.
Work started last week on Highway 173 between Lake Arrowhead Village and the closed dirt portion. That work is expected to continue through Friday, April 22.
The following week — April 25-29 — CalTrans expects crews to be making pothole repairs on Highway 189 between Lake Gregory Drive in Crestline and Lake Arrowhead Village.
