“When my wife, Dee, and I were considering buying a second home in Lake Arrowhead we didn’t understand the myriad nuances of this unique market and underestimated the challenges of the escrow process that lay ahead of us. We appreciate all of your help. BTW, this is the first time we purchased a home that the realtor represented both parties. It was my thought
to alleviate any problems by going with an outside inspector. In this, I think I made a mistake. There are too many things that the inspector I choose missed
and I was not pleased with the overall results. Based on your guidance and other recommendations, I wish I had gone with your inspector. Also, if I
were to buy again I would pay the extra to have separate Electrical, Plumbing and fireplace inspections - but, it is all experience and we will know for
next time.
